Renault launches upgraded Fluence at Rs 15.2 lakh

Renault has just launched an upgraded version of the Fluence diesel sedan, with a few minor revisions. Renault has also updated the Fluence's price, and the new version is Rs 80,000 dearer than the car it replaces, with ex-showroom (Delhi) prices now starting at Rs 15.2 lakh.

The Renault Fluence diesel is powered by the French company's popular 1.5-litre dCi  K9 series engine. This engine has now received some upgrades, partiularly to the turbo-charger, which has resulted in a marinal power increase from 105 PS to 110 PS. The Fluence diesel is available in the E4 trim level, which ensures that the car has all the essential kit that a buyer in this class demands, including leather upholstery, electrically folding mirrors, parking sensors, automatic headlamps and wipers, Bluetooth compatible stereo, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist and ESP with ASR or anti-skid regulation.

The revised Fluence diesel has been rated at 20.4 kpl by ARAI. Renault claims the Fluence diesel produces the minimum emissions in this class.
