India's largest auto manufacturer Tata Motors launched its new Tata Manza Elan In February 2011. The car is competitively priced between Rs 5.14 lakh to Rs 5.91 lakh (ex-showroom price, Delhi).  The new Tata Manza is equipped with 90 PS Safire Petrol and Quadrajet diesel engines. This has been loaded with a lot of premium comfort and safety features.

The all new Tata Manza is available in four variants; Aqua, Aura, Aura (ABS) & Aura Plus. Tata Manza is available with both petrol and diesel variants

The Tata Indigo eCS comes with a new CR4 Common Rail Diesel engine that delivers mileage of 25 km per litre. This 1.4 liter turboDiesel engine has a displacement of 1396 cc delivering 70 PS @ 4000 RPM.With a higher torque of 140 NM at a lower 1800-3000 RPM..

The increase in mileage is attained by the changes in engine head, block and piston, reducing friction between moving parts, improved aerodynamics, improved gear ratios for better drive-ability and economy, clutch-to-start, weight reduction by around 10 kg..

The Tata Indigo eCS Compact also comes in a MPFi petrol engine also. The diesel engine, is priced at Rs 5.80 lakh and the e-CS GVX petrol engine, is priced at Rs 4.97 lakh. The company is offering an 18-month and unlimited kms warranty to private users of the vehicle. Both engines are compliant with BS4 emission norms..
