Let us review BMW 5 Series!

The primary luxury car manufacturer, BMW has introduced its latest sixth generation 5 series in India.

This BMW 5, claiming a regular 4 cylinder diesel engine is expected to deliver fuel efficiency as well as exceptional performance. It also supports 18.4kmpl mileage.

In the meantime, the featured engine of the vehicle also generates maximum 185hp output and 380Nm@1750rpm maximum torque. The 520d model can also reach 100kmph in 8.1 seconds, while its top speed reads 225kmph.

Produced at its Chennai facility, the model is offered as a CKD unit.

BMW India brings out BMW 5 Series in four variants such as the petrol versions, 523i and 535i as well as the ones sporting diesel engines, like the 525d and 530d. In the meantime, the 535i model is offered as a Completely Built Unit.

Featuring a long 2888mm wheel base, this d segment luxury sedan looks very sporty and muscular. The third variant, BMW 530d sports a 2993cc engine and is priced 4,320,000 rupees, even as the fourth variant, BMW 530d Highline series is offered at 4,680,000 rupees. Finally, the fifth variant, 530i comes powered by a 2996cc engine at 4,620,000 rupees.

At the same time, the featured fuel tank of the variant has the ability to hold 70 litres.

The vehicle also puts much emphasis on the users comfort and protection thus coming loaded with safety features such as the airbags located for the driver, passenger as well as side seats; enhanced airbag system for the head, leading to the security of the occupants for the front and back seats in addition to the safety curtain airbag featured across the windows at the side.
