Hyundai launches Automatic Santa Fe

The all-wheel-drive luxury SUV, the Hyundai Santa Fe is now available with a six speed automatic transmission and priced at Rs. 24.36 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.



After launching the Hyundai Santa Fe in October last year and selling 1100 units till date, Hyundai has launched the automatic version of Santa Fe. Available with a six-speed automatic transmission with additional features of push button start and smart key, the Santa Fe Automatic is priced at Rs. 24.36 Lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi.

On the occasion, H W Park, MD and CEO, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “The Santa Fe launched last year has been doing extremely well. The new offering with automatic transmission further improves our value proposition.”  The Santa Fe AT version is available with a 2.2 liter Common Rail Diesel injected engine delivering maximum power of 197 PS at 4000 rpm and 436 Nm of torque at 1800 – 2500 rpm. The ARAI claimed efficiency of the Santa Fe is 11.72 kilometers to a liter.

Awarded a five star safety rating by New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), the Santa Fe comes with a number of active and passive safety features. Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ABS with EBD and six airbags are all standard in the car. The Santa Fe also comes with a number of creature comforts like steering mounted audio and phone controls, navigation unit, a 2-DIN in-car entertainment system with USB and AUX and automatic climate control with dual air-conditioning like in the manual transmission model.
