Model History :
The car which bought affordable motoring to the masses and also completely changed the socio-economic scene in the world in the last century was Henry Ford’s masterpiece beyond compare. Affectionately known at Tin Lizzie, Flivver or the Blazing T, this car was also sold in decent numbers in India, this coming from Ford of Canada who had the rights to sell Fords in the Asian region. The Model T was hard to start, uncomfortable to ride in and thanks to its two-speed gearbox it could behave most unpredictably. Yet that didn’t stop over 15 million units to be bought!

Provenance :
This car was formerly owned by a research scientist at IIT Kanpur. It says 1927 on the original registration papers but could have been an earlier model, say 1925, purely going by its wooden wheels. This car is in fine fettle, having been bought about five years ago with Jaykumar having lavished ample TLC to this simple but highly effective tool of personal mobility.
