Sumo Victa DI Engine

It comes equipped with a 2956 cc Diesel DI Turbo Charged engine in all of its models. Its direct injection engine which has a capacity generates a peak output of 70 (51.5 Kw) PS Power at 3000 rpm & torque of 22.7 Kg-m (223 Nm) at 1600-2200 rpm making it an ideal choice when going for power output at lower rpms and high end torque. The Tata Sumo Victa DI Turbo GX BS2 variant of this car provides an automatic transmission while all the others which are DI Turbo CX, DI Turbo EX, DI Turbo GX, DI Turbo LX and DI Turbo EX BS2 come with a manual 5 speed transmission.

The front grille on the SUV, the headlamps and tail-lamps all have been re-designed from the previous models with some interesting side cladding and wide decals. There is a split option of 60:40 at the second row seats ergonomically which provides an enhanced storage space as well as flexibility in almost all provisional modes of travel.
