Fiat Linea

You would be astonished how many times our Linea has done the Mumbai-Pune Expressway run, up and down, most of the times at break-neck speeds. On the E-way, she’s fast and fun, and the same time, she only requires about a quarter of a tank of diesel to make the journey from Mumbai to Pune. And this from a car which has clocked over 47,000 kilometers. To top it off she hasn’t given any serious mechanical troubles and there are barely any vibrations or rattles from the body work.

The Linea is getting due for a couple of regular maintenance checks though - wheel balancing for one and a change of tyres might be warranted not much further down the road. There is a slight stickiness while turning the steering, but that should likely get sorted after the aforementioned wheel balancing and alignment is done. The old girl is still going strong and Mumbai-Pune commutes have never been this much fun.
