Fiat launches new Punto Sport at Fiat Caffe in india

Fiat India has launched the Punto Sport 90 HP in Pune today. The Punto Sport uses the same 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine, pushing out 93 PS of power. The Fiat Punto Sport is priced at Rs 7.36 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.

Speaking on occasion, Enrico Atanasio, Head- Commercial, FIAT India Automobiles Ltd said, “At Fiat, we believe in providing our customers with newer and better cars designed with the best-in-class comfort and technology. We are hopeful that the new limited edition variant of the Punto Sport will be well-received by our customers and will succeed in delighting them. We are committed to the Indian market and with this CaffĂ© we aim to offer the real Fiat experience. This is a step towards ramping up our direct presence in India and we will continue to remain aggressive on this front in the future.”

The Fiat Punto Sport will be available in a single spec, but is equipped with a lot of kit, which includes Bluetooth audio with USB, ABS with EBD, two airbags and tasty 15-inch alloy wheels. The Fiat Punto Sport will be available in three colours only - black, white and red. In its current avatar, the Punto Sport is about Rs 40,000 more than the the erstwhile Punto 90HP.

The Fiat Caffe in Pune is the second of its kind in the country after New Delhi. Since announcing its new plan for India, whih will see the gradual dissolution of the joint sales, service and marketing agreement with Tata Motors, Fiat is going all out to promote the brand in the competitive Indian market place.
