Bajaj Pulsar 135LS

Bajaj Pulsar 135LS Front View Bajaj Pulsar 135LSIf the question is, “Why there is a new bike in the name of Bajaj Pulsar 135LS?” you may not get a clear answer from the manufacturers. This new model has no revolutionary changes from the other models on the road now and even Bajaj’s extensive range of two wheelers.
If necessary, you can say that it is the only bike with 135cc that provides the real comfort of riding. Due to superior mileage, the Pulsar 135LS is a perfect executive bike for Indian roads. It is suitable for both long trips and day to day use.
Even though it belongs to the Bajaj Pulsar range, the design is entirely different. Just like all other Pulsar bikes, this one also features a sporty design that attracts the youngsters. In fact, it is a model that has a touch of style in each point.
Engine and performance
This model is the first and only one using 4-Valve DTS-i engine and it has 13.5bhp power that improves the pulling. More volume of air-fuel mixture with efficient combustion reduces the fuel consumption and thus, with one litre petrol you can go for a long 68.1km.
This new version of Pulsar bike is coupled with a five speed gearbox to provide you full enjoyment of the riding. The performance and mileage will be in its maximum on the top gear.
Better pick-up at low speeds provided with the new pulsar 135 avoids need for constant gear shifts and thus you can move through traffics even on the fifth gear. You can also feel the quicker and better evacuation of exhaust gases and smooth power transmission in this model.
Speed and performance

Braking and suspension
Bajaj has provided a proficient disk braking system for the front which stops the vehicle abruptly as you apply the brake. The rear one is the normal drum-brake. Applying both front and rear together will make braking effective and reduces the chances of skidding.
Telescopic front suspension with anti friction bushes and Nitrox rear suspension provided with this new model will avoid sudden pushing of the body while braking. The Pulsar 135 uses Nitrogen Oxide assisted gas shocker with 5 step adjustable suspension on the back as well.
Battery and charging
Maintenance free battery in the vehicle ensures better lighting and easy electric-start. Digital battery power indicator placed right below the speedometer shows the battery status and if it flashes constantly during night trips or such other light-on conditions, you must show the vehicle to an authorized BAL dealer.
Electric start with auto-choke is another main attribute of Baja Palsar135LS. This offers easy starting at any weather condition and no need to raise the accelerator before staring your trip as the others do. You can simple start the bike and it will be ready for a ride.
Design
Bajaj Pulsar 135LS Bajaj Pulsar 135LS The new Bajaj Pulsar 135LS comes with stunning design that improves thesporty look of the vehicle. It comes in two attractive shades, Cocktail Wine Red and Midnight Black.
The main display of the vehicle holds digital speedometer, digital odometer, tachometer, digital fuel indicator, reserve indicator, turn signal indictor, Hi-beam indicator, neutral indicator, trip meter and digital battery indicator.
Each and every segment of the Pulsar 135 has a reflection of style. The bikini headlight faring, LED tail lamps, mirrors, split grab rail, single down tube chassis frame and 5 spoke alloy wheels give a special attraction to this aggressive model. Even the Pulsar 150 does not have split seats like what this new model has.
To ensure the security of the vehicle this new model is provided with steering cum ignition lock. This new sporty model is the one which I have with me right now. I got it a year before and I’m still using it to find out new speeds on the roads.
