Kawasaki ER-6N
After sizeable sale and strong response for the Kawasaki Ninja 250R
in one year’s time and official formation of India Kawasaki Motors, the
Japanese major is well on its way of bringing in the bigger Ninjas and
more premium models to India with its partner, Bajaj Auto.
Preference will be given to the Ninja 650, the ER-6N and the Z750 as
all these models can be imported via the CKD route from Kawasaki’s
Thailand facility while the ZX6R on the other hand is made in Japan and
it will have to be imported as a CBU. The CKD route will allow
Bajaj-Kawasaki alliance to competitively price its 600cc and above
models in the Indian market.
