
Ahead of the Beijing auto show in China on April 24, Porsche has
revealed images and details of its 2012 Cayenne GTS. The Cayenne GTS is
positioned between the S and Turbo variants with its lower ride height
and sporty equipment.
Under the hood lies a 433PS V8 borrowed from the Cayenne S and
mated to an 8-speed Triptronic transmission. The Cayenne GTS comes
integrated with stop-start function and Porsche claims a 0-100 time of
5.7 seconds, 160kmph in 13.3s and a top speed of 261kmph.
The Cayenne GTS has a front-end borrowed from the Turbo variant with
prominent side skirts and wider wheel arches. The rear features a roof
spoiler with twin-wing profile, giving the SUV a mean look. The plush
interiors of the Cayenne are endowed with Alacantara leather elements
and the front seats have an eight way adjustment settings.
