Maruti Suzuki plans to launch its latest model, Cervo as alternative to M800 and Alto

Maruti Suzuki Cervo Maruti Suzuki plans to launch its latest model, Cervo as alternative to M800 and Alto Maruti is aiming to introduce its latest model, the Cervo as an alternative to its earlier models, M800 and Alto, claims the report.
This vehicle replacing these two 800cc models is scheduled to launch by the upcoming Diwali. The car is expected to come out fitted with both petrol and diesel engine options.
In the meantime, the cost of the petrol variant is expected to be between 2 lakh to 2.5 lakh rupees, even as that of the diesel variant is yet to be confirmed. The launch of diesel variant is expected to draw more customers.
The latest car is said to be powered with a 660 cc powertrain by Suzuki, supporting good fuel efficiency.
At the same time, the Cervo model offers a dashboard with rectangular air vent featured in the middle as well as circular ones located to the sides, same as that seen in Swift.
However, it is also expected that the features could vary from the details currently released. Confirmed features are yet to be revealed.
Cervo is also expected to be launched in competition to models such as Tata Nano and Hyundai Eon.
