Automakers
world wide are keen on launching small and low-budget cars. The Indian
car market is particularly focused on cost effective cars that offer low
maintenance. In a bid to offer better automobiles in the Indian market,
Hyundai is set to launch Hyundai H800. The Hyundai H800 will compete with Tata Nano and Maruti's Alto.
Marketed as the world's cheapest car, Tata Nano has been a major success. Car makers today wish to tread on similar path and have been trying to launch cars wearing a low price tag. Hyundai India draws the attention of our auto market, and has announced its new Hyundai H800, likely to be launched in November this year. Customers are eagerly waiting for this launch to happen and have their fingers crossed.
The Hyundai H800 hatchback will be a modest version of Hyundai Santro Xing. The exterior look and the interior appearance will be borrowed from its sibling Hyundai Santro Xing. As per the leaked images of Hyundai H800 in the internet, the new hatchback resembles the Hyundai i10 with an enlarged honeycomb mesh in the front. The interiors are different to cut down the costs. The head room space and the leg space are thought to have been reduced, while the wheel base appears to be similar to that of any other Hyundai small cars.
Hyundai H800 will offer stiff competition to Tata Nano and Maruti Alto that wear price tags between Rs 2.32 lakhs to Rs 3.30 lakhs. According to close sources, the price of Hyundai H800 is expected to be under Rs 3 lakhs. There have been no official specifications of this hatchback yet. However, Hyundai H800 is going to be as popular as Tata Nano or Maruti’s Alto.
