BMW Launches F650GS Bike in India for Rs. 9.99 Lacs

BMW is a world renowned German automobile giant. The BMW Motoradd announced the 2012 BMW F650GS bike in India on the 10th of April. It was launched with the price tag of Rs 9.99 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. The BMW F650 GS will come into India in completely built units owing to which the makers will pay75% import duties.

The major highlight of this much awaited bike is the engine. It is powered by a 798cc parallel twin engine which generates peak power of 71 hp and maximum torque of 75Nm. The liquid cooled and fuel injected engine is mated to a 6 speed gear box.

The stunning features of the bike do not end there, as the off-road qualities are pretty impressive. The motorcycle holds a 19 inches heel in the front and 17 inches wheel at the rear. The disc brakes allow better user comfort. The suspension at the front comes with telescopic layout and monoshock suspension provided at the rear.

The vehicle also comes with the ABS feature that is bound to impress the off-road freaks. The most surprising factor is that the vehicle is apt for people in the average height range.
